Congratulations to Professor James Demmel and incoming graduate student Yang You, whose paper “CA-SVM: Communication-Avoiding Support Vector Machines on Clusters” won one of 4 Best Paper awards at the upcoming IPDPS’15. The coauthors include Rich Vuduc and collaborators Le Song and Ken Czechowski at Georgia Tech.
